Oberst-Online welcomes Team Love!

Posted on Sunday, Mar 21st, 2010 : 1:34 PM by Aria
We've been talking back and forth with Nate Krenkel from Team Love records and have set up brand new section on our message board in support of the label where Krenkel and whoever else will keep everyone up to date with everything surrounding the label he founded with Conor in 2003.

Quoting Krenkel: " the members might want to know what he's (Conor) up to in terms of bands he backing. not to mention all the mystic valley solo albums, and bands with Bright Eyes history like Berg Sans Nipple (shane, drummer from Digital Ash tour) or Simon Joyner, or bands that have been on tour with BE (Rig 1, Mars Black, McCarthy Trenching, Tilly, etc)."

For more information on the label check out team-love.com!

Bright Eyes is on the 'My suicide' film soundtrack

Posted on Friday, Mar 19th, 2010 : 11:18 PM by Aria

Looks like Bright Eyes is gonna be featured on the soundtrack of an upcoming movie called 'My suicide'! The article mentioning it can be read here , and the main part mention Bright Eyes can be read below:

Kasher provides a "haunting and beautiful" score for "My Suicide," which also features a kick-ass soundtrack, including original music from Devendra Banhart, Bright Eyes, MGMT and Mark Mothersbaugh, as well as previously existing tracks from My Morning Jacket, TV On The Radio, Animal Collective, The Pixies and most notably, Radiohead, who were the first band to sign on to the project.

By the way they worded that it would appear that the Bright Eyes track appearing on this soundtrack is new.
